Limited Fuel Supply & Zero Gas distribution in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Power and Energy said that it will release fuel while managing the existing stocks.

The Ministry said that petrol distribution will be limited.

The Sapugaskanda Petroleum Refinery has said that it will manage crude oil stocks until the 28th of June and release fuel.

In the meantime, Litro gas noted that gas will NOT be distributed in the country. But people are still waiting in lines to purchase gas.

Meanwhile, people are still waiting in fuel queues to purchase fuel for daily essentials.

The News 1st Correspondent said that there were long queues across the country for days to date. Some filling stations have not received stocks of petrol for days.
