Petrol distribution restricted; Does NOT apply to Diesel

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal Ltd. (CPSTL) said that the daily distribution of petrol has been restricted.

According to Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal Ltd. (CPSTL), about 1,500 MT of petrol is being distributed throughout the country on Tuesday (21).

Previously the average daily distribution volume exceeded 2,500 MT.

However, Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal Ltd. (CPSTL) said that due to the limited stock of petrol, the distribution will be subject to certain restrictions.

Meanwhile, 5,000 MT of diesel is to be distributed across the country on Tuesday (21) as well.

The Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal Ltd. (CPSTL) further said that the distribution of diesel is going on without any hindrance.
