COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Education states that the evaluation of the G.C.E. Ordinary Level Examination will be conducted without any hindrance.
Its Secretary, Nihal Ranasinghe stated that all filling stations have been instructed to issue fuel to teachers who engage in paper marking and to prioritize them.
Accordingly, the appointment letter issued for the examination duties, the duty identity card and the letter issued by the Commissioner General of Examinations for obtaining fuel have been submitted and facilities have been provided for the examination staff to obtain the required fuel, the Secretary said.
The Department of Examinations has also requested all petrol station owners to provide the necessary assistance to ensure that examinations are conducted without any hindrance.
The evaluation of the GCE Ordinary Level examination papers commenced yesterday (18).
