COLOMBO (News 1st); Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Limited (CPSTL) said that the distribution of fuel will continue, and deliveries will be made to all filling stations.
The Ministry of Power and Energy announced that a shipment of diesel is scheduled to arrive in the country within the next two days.
A senior official in the Ministry of Power and Energy said that steps have been taken to order another shipment of petrol.
The Lanka Private Bus Owners Association warned that public transport will be severely affected from Wednesday (14) due to the fuel shortage.
