COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Justice said that the 21st Amendment to the Constitution will be presented to the Cabinet today for approval, along with the proposals submitted by political parties and various other parties.
The Ministry of Justice said that a special discussion relevant to the 21st Amendment Draft Bill was held under the leadership of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, with the participation of the Prime Minister, the Minister of External Affairs, and the Minister of Justice.
The Minister of Justice stated that the draft of the 21st Amendment will be gazetted after receiving the approval of the Cabinet.
Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe said that he expects to make a statement in Parliament regarding the 21st Amendment to the Constitution next week.
