COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has issued landside early warnings for several Districts.

Accordingly, warning of Level 1 has been issued for the next 24 hours for the areas Eheliyagoda, Ratnapura, Kuruwita and Kalawana District Secretariat Divisions and surrounding areas in Ratnapura District. 

Meanwhile, the Meterology Department has also stated that showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and in Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara Districts, while several spells of showers will occur in North-Western Province today (4).

Moreover, showers or thundershowers will also occur at a few places in Uva Province and in Ampara District during the evening or night.
