Successful people face the most obstacles: Basil

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Organizer of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, Basil Rajapaksa said that trees which bear fruit are stoned the most, and in turn, successful people will face the most obstacles by others in life.

The former Finance Minister was inquired regarding the proposed 21st Amendment.

He said that he does not know how the Parliamentary members of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna would vote for the amendment.

When pointed out that the 21st Amendment targets Members of the Parliament such as himself, the former Minister laughed and said that just as trees which bear fruit will be stoned the most, successful people will face the most obstacles by others in life.
