COLOMBO (News 1st); The China first batch of medical aid from China will arrive in the country on Friday (3).

China is to provide medical aid worth 500 Million Chinese Yuan, which is about 26.9 Billion rupees to Sri Lanka.

The aid will include 512,640 syringes worth 10 Million Yuan of medicine useful in preventing blood clots.

More than half of the syringes will reach Colombo today (3), and the remainder in the second half of this month.

The injections will be enough for six months.
