COLOMBO (News 1st); The section from GelaniGama to Dodangoga towards Galle on the Southern Expressway was closed for traffic on Saturday (28) following an accident.

Police said that the section of the road was temporarily closed due to an accident that took place last night after a fuel bowser crashed onto a lorry.

The lorry had overturned across the road after the accident and an operation is underway to clear the road for traffic.
