Tensions at Flower Rd between protestors & Police

COLOMBO (News 1st); A tense situation arose near the Prime Minister's Office on Flower Road, Colombo when a group of protesters at NoDealGama near Temple Trees attempted to march towards the Prime Minister's Office.

As the protesters attempted to travel to the Prime Minister's Office, they were informed that they cannot move forward due to an examination center being held nearby.

At the same time, a heated situation also arose between the protesters and the Police, and later, the protesters sat on the ground and blocked the road and engaged in a protest.
