Norochcholai adds 200 MW to National Grid

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) noted that the first generator of the Norochcholai Coal Power Plant was connected to the National Grid on Monday (23) night.

The maintenance work of the generator at the Norochcholai Lakvijaya Coal Power Plant which was out of order was completed recently.

The Deputy General Manager of the CEB Andrew Navamuni stated that 200 MW was added to the national grid from last night (23).
