CPC takes over filling station for holding stocks for price revision

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Power and Energy has tweeted saying after receiving a complaint last night, that the Ambatale fuel station was taken over by Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) officers.

He said that the filling station had closed before the stipulated time holding stocks for price revision.

CPC officers sold the stocks at old prices to the public this morning and further investigations are underway, he further noted.
