Energy Minister engages in inspection tour in Kolonnawa

COLOMBO (News 1st); Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara has engaged in an inspection tour of the Kolonnawa fuel distribution terminal yesterday (21)

The Minister participated in an emergency inspection tour at the Kolonnawa Oil Storage Terminal last evening to monitor the fuel distribution activities and to discuss further plans.

Discussions were also held with the military officers who are supervising the activities and the arrangements were made to inform the petrol station owners about the movement of the bowsers at petrol stations and to provide them the necessary security.

The Minister also took several decisions with regard to the problems faced by Bowser drivers, assistants and their needs.
