COLOMBO (News 1st); The Inter Company Employees Union – SriLankan Airlines Branch (ICEU) organized a protest at Naikanda Junction in Katunayake today (20) during their lunch break.

The Assistant Secretary at the Inter Company Employees Union – SriLankan Airlines Branch (ICEU), Gamini Ranatunga said that Ranil Wickremasinghe has been the Prime Minister on five separate occasions since 1994, but he still does not realize the economic crisis in the country.

“He is trying to set a new world record by becoming the Prime Minister for the 6th time,” said Ranatunga, adding that Wickremesinghe’s vision is on selling, obtaining loans, and adding more tax burden on the people.
