COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Examinations said in a statement that the officers assigned to the G.C.E Ordinary Level Examination should report for duty even if they are given leave for school holidays today (20).
In addition, principals of schools facilitating the G.C.E Ordinary Level examinations are required to report for duty today (20).
Meanwhile, tuition classes, workshops, seminars, and lectures related to the G.C.E Ordinary Level Examination have been banned from midnight today (20).
Commissioner-General of Examinations L.M.D Dharmasena stated that the ban will remain in effect until the end of the examination.
Meanwhile, the G.C.E Ordinary Level examination admission cards have been mailed, he added.
He further said that if there are any issues in this regard, to inform the Department of Examinations via 011 2784208 and 0112784537 or 1911.
