DO NOT WAIT IN LINE FOR GAS - Litro

COLOMBO (News 1st); Litro Gas has requested the general public NOT to wait in line for LP Gas as it was unable to unload the shipment that reached the island on Tuesday (17).

Litro Gas said cited inclement weather as the reason for being unable to unload the shipment.

"There is a delay in distribution, therefore do not remain in queues for LP Gas," said Litro.

The Chairman of Litro, Eng. Vijitha Herath said a payment of $ 6.5 Million was made for two vessels with LP Gas shipments.

Accordingly, it was planned to distribute 80,00 gas cylinders daily from today (18).

Another ship carrying 3,700 MT of paid gas is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (19).
