Army deploys patrols and barricades to maintain peaceful conditions

COLOMBO (News 1st); Following the imposition of the State of Emergency, the Sri Lanka Army and the Armed Forces under the full supervision of the Ministry of Defense have extended their support to the Sri Lanka Police to maintain law and order in the country as well as for the protection of the public and public property of the country, says the Tri-forces.

Therefore, in order to maintain the peaceful atmosphere, troops of the Sri Lanka Army Special Forces today (14) deployed patrols and expressway barricades in the vicinity of Colombo using Sri Lanka Army Special Armored Vehicles.
