Nation-wide Trade Union action concludes

COLOMBO (News 1st); The nation-wide strike action launched by Trade Unions attached to the Government, Semi-Government and Private sectors, was called off at 7:00 AM today.

Trade Unions attached to multiple sectors such as Health, Ports, and Electricity joined the strike in condemnation of the brutal attack on GotaGoGama and MynaGoGama protest sites.

The Sri Lanka Administrative Service Association (SASA) has also called off its Trade Union Action, to continue essential services and minimize inconveniences to the public.
