COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) said that the distribution of fuel for filling stations was suspended due to curfew, and resumed on Wednesday (11) evening.
Earlier a senior official at the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation said that fuel would be distributed under police protection only for essential services, citing the security situation in the country.
The CPC further stated that three more fuel tankers will reach Sri Lankan shores within next week.
