Sri Lanka : President Rajapaksa to consider proposals by BASL

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has told the Bar Association of Sri Lanka that he would consider acting as per the constitution on the BASL proposals to retore political and econmic stability in the country.

The President's Media Division said this was announced during a meeting between the President and the Executive Committee of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka on Sunday (8).

The Bar Association of Sri Lanka also issued a statement on the meeting.
