Politicians Persona Non Grata until crisis is solved, says Malwathu Mahanayake Thero

COLOMBO (News 1st); Most Venerable Thibbatuwawe Sri Sumangala Thero, Mahanayaka of the Malwathu Chapter of the Siyam Sect has decided to classify politicians as Persona Non Grata, until the present crisis situation is solved.

The Most Venerable Mahanayake Thero had decided to refrain from meeting with politicians with effect from Monday (2).

A group of Sri Lankans who are part of the on going movement for change met with the Mahanayake Thero and requested that the Rajapaksa's be stripped of all the titles bestowed upon them.

The Mahanayake Thero said the country cannot move forward unless the crisis is solved.
