Use alternative routes: Police

COLOMBO (News 1st); Police say that vehicular movement along some roads in Colombo maybe hampered due to the May Day rallies set to commence this afternoon.

Police Spokesperson, SSP Nihal Thalduwa urged the public and motorists to use alternative routes as much as possible during the time protests and rallies are due to take place.

However, Police previously stated that no roads will be closed in Colombo.
