Gas distribution commences after price hike

COLOMBO (News 1st); Gas cylinders are being received by distributors for the first time since the price hike.

But the shortage of gas cylinders has put the people in a difficult position.

Cooking gas cylinders were delivered to gas dealers in Hikkaduwa for the first time in 15 days today.

Dealers Anuradapura received gas cylinders after 17 days.

A large queue was witnessed in Badulla Town, as people waited for the delivery of cooking gas.
