Over 3,000 Dengue cases were reported in April

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Dengue Control Unit said that 3,199 dengue patients have been reported during the past 25 days of April.
The Director of the National Dengue Control Unit, Dr. Sudath Samaraweera said that 3,040 dengue patients were reported in March as well.
He said that there is a risk of a dengue spread due to heavy rains experienced across many areas.
16,903 dengue patients have been reported so far this year.
