COLOMBO (News 1st); Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has stressed that he will not be stepping down anytime soon, and reminded the public that he is behind every step taken to get the country out of the current crisis.
The statement, which carries his speech during the discussion held with the Provincial Council & Local Government representatives, the Prime Minister further that the crisis will worsen if he waits for someone else to take the reins and control it.
The Prime Minister had noted that all obstacles to ensure a continuous supply of fuel, gas, electricity, and medicine as well as essential services need to be removed, and the existing queues need to be brought to an end.
