COLOMBO (News 1st); The families of the victims of the 2019 Easter attacks are scheduled to meet His Holiness Pope Francis, accompanied by His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, at the Vatican on Monday (25).
A special Holy mass will be held this afternoon at Sri Lankan time at the St. Peter’s Basilica with the participation of Sri Lankans living in Italy.
Archbishop of Colombo His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith left for the Vatican on the 21st with a group representing the families of the victims of the Easter attacks.
The visit comes at the request of the His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith during a recent meeting with His Holiness Pope Francis.
