COLOMBO (News 1st); The All Island Poultry Traders Association said that the poultry industry is at risk due to the inability to produce necessary products.
The Chairman of the All-Island Poultry Traders Association, Ajith S. Gunasekara stated that this situation has arisen due to the inability to obtain the raw material required for the production of animal feed both locally and abroad.
The Chairman further said that the purchasing of chickens by the farm owners is also at a low present.
