COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka has decided to relax the mandatory rule on wearing face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Health Minister Professor Channa Jayasumana speaking to News 1st said wearing the face mask will not be mandatory at public places, however, it will be made mandatory when using public transport, and when involved in indoor events, such as offices.
