Local manufacturers to assist curb medicine shortage

COLOMBO (News 1st); The State Ministry of Pharmaceutical Products Regulation and Supply informed that nearly 40 types of medicines are currently in short supply in Hospitals and patients are facing severe difficulties due to this manner.
The State Ministry of Pharmaceutical Products Regulation and Supply said that six essential medicines have been imported to the country.
Meanwhile, the State Ministry of Pharmaceutical Products Regulation and Supply said that local manufacturers have also agreed to supply some of the medicines.
