300 kilos of heroin seized in Southern Seas

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Navy, State Intelligence Service, and the Police Narcotic Bureau in a joint operation seized 300 kg of heroin from a fishing vessel in the Southern Seas on Wednesday (13).

Sri Lankan authorities also arrested 6 people, and also took custody of 25 kg of Crystal meth also known as ICE.

Navy Spokesman, Capt. Indika de Silva stated that the drugs and the suspects are being brought ashore.
