COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Health states that there is no shortage in medicine and surgical equipment at State Hospitals. 

In a statement, the Ministry of Health has addressed several claims which are circulating on social media, and states that there is adequate amount of equipment and medicine. 

Moreover, the Ministry of Health has also attached a list of medicines and surgical equipment at State Hospitals in Western Province, along with their quantities, supporting the claim that the sufficient amount of equipment and medicine exists.
