COLOMBO (News 1st); Litro gas consumers are still forced to wait in line for many hours simply to purchase a domestic gas cylinder.

This is in a backdrop where Litro said it released 100,000 Cooking Gas cylinders daily over the weekend.

In Galle, a heated situation arose when people lost their patience after waiting in gas for days.

They obstructed the Galle – Matara main road from the Samudra Mawatha and engaged in the protest.
