NOTHING IMPORTANT was discussed during meeting with the President - Vasudeva

COLOMBO (News 1st); The meeting between the President, and the Independent MPs from the ruling coalition & the contituent parties on Sunday (10) evening, ended inconclusively.

"No discussion on was made on forming an interim government during meeting between President, Independent MPs, & 11 constituent parties," said Former Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara.

He said the meeting was based on maintaining relations among parties.

The meeting took place at the President's Office in Colombo.

Notably, the vehicles of the MPs used a separate entrance to enter the premises as Sri Lankans continue to occupy the Galle Face stretch.
