School hours extended by one hour

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Education announced that school hours have been extended by one hour from April 18th, 2022.

Secretary to the Ministry of Education, Prof. Kapila Perera stated that these steps have been taken to complete the school hours from the first school term which commences on the 18th of April to the end of the 23rd of December, 2022.

Accordingly, school schedules, including interim vacations, have been submitted to the principals, he said.
