University Students take to the streets

COLOMBO (News 1st); Students from several universities and institutes organized protests across the country on Monday (4).

The university students were demanding that the government be held accountable for the economic crisis, and that the goverment resign.

The Universities that organized protests are the NSBM Green University in Homagama, University of Jaffna, University of Kelaniya, University of Rajarata, University of Uva Wellassa, and the University of Peradeniya.
