Summon students only for essential activities during 4-8 April: Education Ministry

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Education has permitted Principles to summon students only for essential activities including examinations during the period from 04th April until 08th April. 

The decision has been taken in view of term examinations of several provinces being concluded, and examinations of only a few more grades being left to be done. 

Accordingly, academic and non-academic staff of schools should also visit schools during the same period of time and be prepared for upcoming examinations as well.
