Namal suspends registration of Sri Lanka Rugby Association

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Minister of Youth and Sports, Namal Rajapaksa has temporarily suspended the registration of National 

Sport Association for Sri Lanka Rugby Association.

In an extraordinary gazette notification, he had appointed Amal Edirisuriya, Director General of the Department of Sports Development, as the competent authority with effect from yesterday (01) in respect of administrative and other required proceedings and to call for and to call for and hold the relevant elections as well as to perform the activities of the association.
