Wimal proposes interim Govt

COLOMBO (News 1st); MP Wimal Weerawansa has requested the President to dissolve the Cabinet and reach an agreement with all parties to form an interim Government.  

Speaking during a media briefing held today (01), the MP stated that as it has been proven that the current Government is incapable of controlling the crisis, an interim Government must be formed as soon as possible. 

He further stated that afterwards the interim Government should take steps to bring the nation out of the crisis and hold a general election as soon as possible, which can bring the country out of the crisis.
