UN calls for restraint from all groups

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Resident Coordinator of the United Nations in Sri Lanka, Hanaa Singer states that the United Nations is monitoring the developments in Sri Lanka and are concerned by reports of violence. 

She further called for restraint from all groups.

Several Embassies also took steps to introduce alerts to foreign visitors in Sri Lanka and to remain vigilant.
