COLOMBO (News 1st); Senior DIG Police Media Spokesperson Ajith Rohana stated that the investigation into the incident that took place in Mirihana yesterday (31) has been handed over to three Police teams.

Accordingly, he stated that the investigations are being carried out by the Colombo Crimes Division, the Criminal Investigations Division and the Western Province North Crimes Division.

Senior DIG Ajith Rohana further stated that an additional investigation is being carried out regarding reports of assaulting journalists.
