COLOMBO (News 1st); The Puttlam – Colombo main road has been closed due to a protest by local residents in Madurankuliya.

People are saying that they could NOT obtain Diesel for more than 10 days in the relevant area.

In the meantime, people were staging a protest at the Kuburupitiya Bus station alleging that the government has not taken measures to address the shortages in the country.
