COLOMBO (News 1st); Carpenters from Moratuwa are currently protesting on Galle Road while obstructing the movement of traffic.

The protest is against the rising cost of living and the mismanagement of the economy.

News 1st correspondents on location said that more than 300 people are protesting on Galle Road, and a heavy police presence is also reported in the area.
