COLOMBO (News 1st); The Catholic Bishop's Conference in Sri Lanka has called for the Executive and the Constitutional Assembly should be responsible, accountable and transparent to those who trusted and elected them to serve the common good.
In a press release, the Conference also pointed out that all rulers are under the obligation to serve all the citizens in the country by putting them first and not act out of political expediency but principle.
Moreover, all concerned parties should be sensitive to the sufferings of the people beginning with the unborn child and ending with those on death bed.
