Piliyandala Water Cut yet to be restored

COLOMBO (News 1st); The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced that the water supply in several areas around Piliyandala that was suddenly disrupted, is being restored.

A Senior officials said that the supply pipe from Horana to Kesbewa encountered a low capacity situation, and thus a sudden water cut was imposed.

However, he stated that the capacity of the pipeline will be increased again and the water supply will be provided.

The people in several areas around Piliyandala were severely affected by the water cut.
