COLOMBO (News 1st); The representatives of the European Union in Sri Lanka have called the country to join in with the condemnation of Russia’s attack on Ukraine.

In a press release, the Ambassadors and High Commissioners of Australia, Canada, USA,UK, Italy, Germany and several other countries have called for Sri Lanka to join in active support for Ukraine and international peace and security.

‘We will work together with our friends and allies around the world to ensure that the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine is restored. We stand with Ukraine; and for freedom, democracy, and the sovereignty of nations around the world.’ it adds.
