COLOMBO (News 1st); Urban Sri Lankans have once again stepped out to the streets to protest against the government’s failure to secure the ailing economy of the country.
What started off as a small vigil-like protest in the town of Kohuwala, not far from the Administrative Capital of Sri Jayewardenepura, has now spread to almost all urban areas surrounding the capita.
On Saturday (19), anti-government protests took place in Kohuwala, Rajagiriya, Ja-Ela, Mount Lavinia and several other seas.
