COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) expects that the prevailing shortage of fuel in the country that has resulted in long queues at filling stations will be resolved after the weekend.
Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Attorney-at-Law Sumith Wijesinghe said fuel stocks are currently being distributed to all Ceypecto filling stations across the country.
The Chairman urged the people to obtain only the quantity of fuel they need without any unnecessary disturbance.
Further, he said that sufficient stocks of fuel have been supplied to the filling stations adding that there are adequate fuel reserves at CPC storage terminals.
