Samagi Vanitha Balawegaya lodges complaint at HRCSL

COLOMBO (News 1st); A group of representatives of the Samagi Vanitha Balawegaya including Hirunika Premachandra who participated in a protest in Mirihana recently, lodged a complaint with the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka today (11).

SJB member Hirunika Premachandra also alleged that she sees motorcycles following her frequently, while a group has visited the house of the Secretary of the Samgi Vanitha Balawegaya claiming that they are from CID and Mirihana Police.

According to Premachandra, the men have visited the house in civil attire and they have questioned her, and subsequently, the Samagi Vanitha Balawegaya took steps to lodge a complaint at the Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka.
