Clean Water Project for remote Sellakataragama village

COLOMBO (News 1st); Gammadda commenced work on a Water Supply Project for the village of Kohombadigama in Sella-Kataragama on Friday (11) morning.

This remote village is home to approximately 500 families and they faced a daunting 3-kilometer trek to fetch clean drinking water until they approach Gammadda.

This project is financially supported by Kanthi Wettamuni and Kumudini De Zoysa in memory of the late Felix R De Silva and his wife.

The technical support for this project is provided by the Sri Lanka Navy.
