GPS for all Colombo - Kataragama Buses

COLOMBO (News 1st): A decision has been reached to install GPS systems on all inter-provincial SLTB and Private buses that operate along the Colombo to Kataragama route. Once the GPS systems are installed, buses that violate road rules could be easily identified, Commander (Retired) Nilan Miranda, the Director-General at the National Transport Commission (NTC) told News 1st on Wednesday (Mar. 9). The NTC has also planned to introduce a joint time table for SLTB and Private Buses that operate inter-provincially.
